What does the free website check look at?

The free check scores your current website out of 100 on seven things: speed on a phone, whether it works on a phone, tap-to-call, a clear quote or booking button, a secure address (https), the title and description Google shows, and your Google reviews. You get the score and a plain-English list of fixes in under a minute. It costs nothing and does not commit you to anything.

    Google’s own speed test, on a phone: how long until your main content shows, and whether the page jumps around.

    Works on a phone

    Whether the page is set up for phone screens, so nobody has to pinch and zoom.

    Tap-to-call

    Whether people can tap your phone number to call you.

  4. 04

    A quote or booking button

    Whether there’s one clear “Get a quote” or “Book now” button, or a booking tool.

  5. 05

    Secure (https)

    Whether your site loads securely, so browsers don’t show “Not secure”.

    Google title and description

    What Google shows for your site in its results.

    Google reviews and listing

    Whether your page links to your Google listing or shows your reviews.
