1. The free demo
Every website starts with a free demo of your site. It costs nothing and there is no obligation: if it isn't right for you, you simply don't go ahead.
2. How payment works
You pay by Stripe after you approve the demo. Projects under US$1,000 are paid in full upfront. Projects of US$1,000 and over are paid 50% to start and 50% before launch, by Stripe invoice. Larger Cinematic projects can be split into milestones, set out in your quote.
3. Before work starts
If you cancel before work starts on the paid build, we refund your payment in full.
4. After work starts
Once work has started, the deposit (or the upfront payment) covers the work done and isn't refundable. The final 50% is only charged when you approve the launch, so you never pay it for a site you haven't approved.
5. If we can't deliver
If we can't deliver what we agreed in your written quote, we refund what you paid for the part we didn't deliver. Where something doesn't match the quote, we first fix it, using your three rounds of changes.
6. What isn't covered
- Changes of mind after launch when the site matches the written quote.
- Requests for new scope (see "Revisions" in our Terms of Service), which are quoted separately.
- Results we never promised, such as rankings, traffic or sales.
- Delays caused by missing files, content or access from you.
7. Marketplace orders
If you ordered through Upwork or Fiverr, refunds and disputes are governed by that marketplace's rules and resolution process.
8. How to ask for a refund
Email hello@runverra.com with your order details and the reason. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Timing for the money to reach you depends on your bank or card provider.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
